Medway - Easter Sunday Soup Kitchen... Masses of thanks to Diane & Dave, Sandra, Claire, & Frances for creating an Easter feast - shepherd's pie, pasta bolognese, macaroni cheese, sausages, sandwiches and amazing Easter cakes!! Plus a huge box of fresh fruit donated by the Gateway in Brompton - and of course Easter Eggs for all!

Saturday night Brian and I went to Maidstone for our usual Soup run. Our starting point was by the church at the bottom of town. Drinks, food, toiletries, underwear and Easter eggs were given out to our friends. It wasn't too busy, so we were able to have a good natter - Brian has been volunteering with us for a few months now, and he has gone from just making hot drinks, to now chatting confidently & with great compassion to the people we meet. London SW1 ... A massive THANK YOU to City Harvest who continue to provide food for us in Victoria - what we don't use on our Soup Run and Outreach gets distributed via Mike's mini-food bank and food parcels to those in need in the area. A large delivery of frozen fruit was turned into healthy smoothies for the Soup Run last week - alongside hot pies, jacket potatoes, fresh vegetable soup, macaroni cheese and an amazing selection of individual desserts from an upmarket deli!
Medway - Soup Kitchen and more .. The Soup Kitchen was extremely busy last Sunday - but our lovely volunteers handled the situation brilliantly! Special Thank you Paula Furniss-roe (always a star, who creates masterpieces from random produce) Sandra (more about this lovely lady later. .) Diane (cup cake queen) and everyone else who brought crisps/drinks etc.. especially Ron and Soo who are always thinking of others.
