So last night the last thing a wanted to do was drag my sorry backside on outreach, I suffer from trigeminal neuralgia and I was in agony!
BUT we have to go out, these people know we are coming, so we did go out, trolley stacked and ready to help.
Some good news came to immediately. One of our 'service users' has finally been housed. He finally accepted the help of The Mission and the Welcome Centre and they have now got him what he needs. We will be putting together a 'start...er pack' for him. Hopefully a new beginning for a lovely person.
We did our usual hand out of underwear, socks, clothing, drinks and snacks. Some people requested new sleeping bags as the weather has been dire. We are glad to be able to provide these.
All in all we were needed and we were there.
Thank you for reading, Jayne.
