Medway - Homeless Emergency Winter Refuge in Chatham

This Morning our doors closed for the final time this Winter 😢 Over 1100 beds have been provided to rough sleepers - a full report will be compiled in the coming weeks. It has been physically and emotionally demanding but hugely rewarding - we've had some great outcomes (regarding assisting people into accomodation & accessing help for them), met some amazing people - shared their laughter, tears, frustration and elation and will continue to support them throughout the year.

We can't thank our beautiful volunteers enough - they are truly amazing 💗💗💗 Thank you to all at Emmaus Church for allowing us to use their building And to every single person who has supported us along the way - YOU have made this possible, this service has undoubtedly saved lives. THANK YOU. Liz x
