This weekend Robin and I were in Chatham to help with their soup kitchen. This supports the homeless and the vulnerably housed. This is a military styled operation as with 60+ people coming to be fed it has to be. They have a wealth of volunteers who bring hot food, cold food, sandwiches, serve hot drinks and mingle with the people who come. It was amazing to see this in operation and to see the local community help them down there. Every volunteer is valued and gives there free time to do this amazing work. Well done Chatham, I saw you make many people happy at the weekend! Jayne
