Huddersfield July 4th 2017

Outreach is not always easy. We went packed up with tshirts, undies, socks, food, drinks ready to help whoever needed us. It was reasonably quiet. Most were grateful as usual, laughs were had. There was an incident with someone we were helping tonight, it was upsetting for all of us. Demons can eat away at people and we cannot judge or become disheartened. Next time all will be forgotten. All our volunteers give up their time to help people on the streets and give amazing support to people who have been housed but still need support. It doesn't stop after we have been out for a few hours. We are here to help. We will be back, same time, same place, same help.
