Yorkshire June 28th 2017

Huddersfield outreach was busy last night. We trialled taking pot noodles and pasta pots out last night and they went down a storm. Along with this we had soup, hot drinks, water, snacks, socks, underwear, deodorant and wipes. Every person we saw yesterday wanted to chat and that is a huge part of what we do. Listen, without judgement. I have left the photo below as many see some of these people as not homeless. Some fall in and out of relationships and become homeless, some cannot enter the 'system' due to mental illness or addiction, some sofa surf which leaves that uncertainty of will they have a bed that night.
