The Refuge

Medway Homeless Emergency Winter Refuge in Chatham - So far this Winter we have provided 587 beds to homeless people in Medway!! Those who come to us receive much more than just a bed - we give support, housing/health/addiction signposting and kindness in abundance!! As well as clean clothing, hygiene products, footspas (with too many bubbles!!) and food... Some homeless people don't want to access the shelters in the area, but they are welcome to join us for a chat, hot drink and extra bedding... Our volunteers are working incredibly hard to provide this service - and we are grateful to them all - they are stars
